It's been a busy two months, so this is going to be a long one! We've been completely occupied with getting our gardent ready for the past few weeks. Lots of stuff!

Weekend Away: Stowe, Vermont

on Sat, 03/16/2013 - 13:51

Two weekends ago Mark and I had the pleasure of spending a weekend in our favorite state.  For Christmas, my parents had gifted us two nights at a bed and breakfast in Stowe, and the day finally arrived.  I'd been looking forward to this trip for months, so I was super excited - so excited that I was willing to get up around 5:00am to hit the road early on Friday to get a full day in up north.

We want a proper garden. One that will last throughout the year, not just the summer.

XC Skiing, No Snow Required

on Sun, 01/06/2013 - 20:03

Well, the snow gods made a feeble attempt at answering my prayers last night. This morning, the day of the cross country skiing clinic, there was the lightest dusting of snow on the ground. The sun was coming out, so it was obvious that the snow wasn't sticking around. Oh well. It was nice to see that little bit of white stuff.
